Continuing life in Ypsilanti / Ann Arbor

Although we have read some Catholic philosophy since I started law school, it wasn't until this past week that we were assigned to read a Papal Encyclical Letter. As one might expect, the one assigned was Evangelium Vitae which means "Gospel of Life."

Although predictable in a certain way, it was certainly a good read and I encourage you to take a look.

It was assigned to us in tandem with a Michigan Court of Appeals opinion, Taylor v. Kurapati . There are some fascinating parallels.
