Today we had a severe thunderstorm warning. Seems the storm was traveling at 60 mph and it was really bad. That's twice in a week. A few days ago we had a tornado warning. The message "TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY" came on the TV. The two cats, myself, a book and a cell phone hung out in the bathroom for 15 minutes until the warning was cancelled.

School started today. I am taking Employment Law, Professional Responsibility, Criminal Procedure, Constitutional Law and Directed Research. In addition, Moot Court Board is 1 credit. I think I will enjoy all my classes but I am not as excited about Criminal Procedure as the other courses. Still, it is required so I might as well get it over with.

We had a pickup game of softball today. The 21 people combined will form a team in a local league. I went 0-1 with a sac fly batting right handed and 2-2 with a few RBI's batting left handed. Hard, line drive hits. It felt good.

I am still suffering from parting grief as it relates to my Grandmother. Still, I know she was proud of me and what I am doing so I will work hard to honor her memory.
