Continuing life in Ypsilanti / Ann Arbor

The rest of the trip in Florida was real nice. Miguel and his sister, Claryvette, visited for two days. We played miniature golf, went to see the Orlando Rays baseball team at Disney's Wide World of Sports and went to Universal Studio on Thursday.

Today I finished and handed in my application for Law Review. I had to do a 2500 word legal memo as well as a personal statement. They will look at my grades and then my writing sample in deciding whether to offer me a spot.

Speaking of grades, our first one was posted today. I received a B+ in Property, which represented 5 of the 30 graded credits. As well, I received my raw score on my appellate brief: 135 out of 150. Although I don't know what the median is, I am pretty sure this score is well above whatever the median truns out to be. Combined with my 46 out of 50 on Oral Argument, I think my grade (which was a B at mid-year) should bump up nicely.

The grades are coming out slowly. It is frustrating but I guess I would rather they get it right the first time.
